Refund and Cancellation Policy

5-Day Refund Window

You can claim a full refund within 5 calendar days of payment, provided you have attended fewer than 2 classes and have not downloaded any course materials. After Day 5, no refund will be issued.

A payment gateway processing fee of 2.5% of the paid amount will be deducted from all approved refunds to cover transaction costs.

Refund Eligibility
When You Can Claim

A refund request will be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Request is submitted within 5 calendar days of the payment date
  • Fewer than 2 classes have been attended
  • No course materials, brochures or study content have been downloaded or shared
  • Request is submitted via email to ketul@theaccountingbaba.com with payment receipt
No Refund Situations
When Refund Will Not Apply
  • Request made after 5 calendar days from payment date
  • Student has attended 2 or more classes
  • Course materials or study content have been accessed or downloaded
  • Payment made for a bundle - partial refund on individual course within bundle is not applicable
  • Seat reserved during a discount or promotional offer
  • Absence from class does not constitute grounds for refund
Refund Amount
What You Receive

All approved refunds are processed after deducting the payment gateway fee. This covers the transaction cost charged by the payment processor, which cannot be recovered by us.

Example: If you paid ₹9,000 and qualify for a refund, you will receive ₹9,000 - ₹225 (2.5%) = ₹8,775.

Refund Process
How to Claim a Refund

Email within 5 days

Send an email to ketul@theaccountingbaba.com with subject: "Refund Request - [Your Name] - [Course Name]"

Attach payment proof

Include your payment receipt or screenshot showing the transaction ID, amount, and date.

Review within 2 business days

We will review your request and confirm eligibility within 2 business days of receiving the email.

Refund processed in 7-10 days

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. Bank processing times may vary.

Alternative Option
Course Transfer or Batch Change

If you cannot attend due to timing or personal reasons, you may request a free batch transfer to a different timing or upcoming batch at the same branch - even beyond Day 5.

Course transfers to a different course of equal or higher value may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 15 days of payment. Contact us to discuss.
